About Us
Sioux Lookout Anglers & Hunters Club was established in 2005 with a mandate to
have a voice for local anglers and hunters. We believe in maintaining a conservationist's
view in regards to the harvesting of fish and animals, and will work together with local
government and corporate entities to ensure that a balance is maintained for future generations.
The Sioux Lookout Anglers and Hunter's Club purpose is:
- Promote an interest in fishing and hunting in our area and Ontario
- Promote an interest in, and assist in the conservation of our wildlife resources
- Promote responsible fishing and hunting practices consistent with existing legislation
- Promote the use and access to the landscape, water and natural resources
- Promote hunting and angling of different species which will provide more opportunities for locals and visitors
- Sponsor our clubs efforts to promote public and in particular local youth interests in fishing and hunting
- Question and hold accountable current and future rules that regulate or restrict public access to the landscape and water, and to ensure that these rules support sustainable use of our natural resources

- Middle of September - Fall Clean up in Association with the MNR
